    1. Open the Smicos app.
    2. Proceed to the sidebar and select the ‘Stories’ icon. 
    3. Click ‘Create From Scratch.’
    4. Locate the ‘Start Point Block.’ This block is connected to the ‘Bot Response’ block and the ‘Fallback’ block. 
    5. Click the plus button next to the ‘Bot Response’ block and wait for a selection to pop up. Select ‘Bot Response’ and wait for a window to pop up.
    6. In the window, label your action in the white section and type in the chatbot message in the grey section. Once finished, click the check mark on the upper right corner of the window to save the change. 
    7. To add responses to a user’s input, click the ‘Bot Response’ again then select ‘User Input.’ A button for the user’s input will appear on the chatstory flow and a window will pop up again.
    8. Once the window appears, type in the label of the action on the grey section of the window, and the predicted customer’s response on the grey section. The predicted responses can be multiple. Make sure to type each predicted response in different text boxes. Click the check mark on the upper right corner to save the changes. 
    9. To add a response for the predicted customer’s message, hover the mouse over the ‘User Response’ button and wait for a selection to pop up. Click ‘Bot Response’ and repeat the same process. You can also drag another text box, a random text, an image, or a link to a gallery on your response. Add a message on the ‘Fallback’ block for questions that your chatbot does not have an answer to. 
    10. Repeat the same process until you have completed your chatbot story flow! Select the ‘Test Your Bot’ button to play out your personalized chatflow or click ‘Publish.’
